Work Methods:

Participants participate in six years of MERKIS experience with scenarios that are specifically targeted at improving communication both inside each team and with the outside world. In each game-year segment the trainer teaches one or two communication skills that participants are asked to use in the game when working within the team. The trainer observes how well participants have learned and adopted these skills in their behavior.  Thus the trainer can change the teaching focus accordingly.  In the game scenario, specific communication challenges with the outside world occur that are possible to solve only with the help of the learned skills. In each game-year participants set specific personal communication goals and the MERKIS system supports them in reaching them. Trainers, peers and third party feedback are also targeted toward helping participants improve their communication performance on a year-to-year basis.
