Work Methods:
In this course, participants learn by doing, experiencing, playing and planning. They take three TimeMentor assessments to help them understand their current lives and develop personal plans to enable them to bring their lives back into balance. They play the TimeMentor Life Balance Board Game to experience the process of life balancing and enable themselves to apply it in “real life”. They observe the trainer’s demonstrations of life-balancing skills and practice them in small groups.

1. Life balance concept introduced.
- Life Balance concept overview. Planning and Time Management in the context of Life Balance. Links between Life Effectiveness and Life Balance. Achieving balance between various fields: health, career, finance, personal growth, family, leisure, spirituality, and daily routines.
2. Assessment of your current key life areas and their balance.
- Assessment of planning skills using TimeMentor Time Management Skills Assessment. Assessment of personal effectiveness using TimeMentor Personal Effectiveness Assessment. Assessment of current life-work balance using TimeMentor Life-Work Balance Assessment. Discriminating between your "stronger" major life areas and "weaker"/lower priority life areas.
3. Goal setting that leads to balance.
- Why set goals? Linkage between habit of goal setting and work-life balance. Hierarchies of long, medium and short-term goals. How to prioritize goals. How to match professional goals with personal goals and values. Structuring different goals in one unified system.
